Course Description

Set your child up for success in their first year of primary school! Our Digital Pioneers (Cycle 2.1 / Primary Year 1) program helps children build strong foundations in reading, writing, and digital skills in a fun, hands-on way. As their reading and writing improve, they move to laptops to create projects with Scratch and learn basics of online safety and simple AI concepts like patterns and choices. Lessons last 2 hours, from September to July, during the 2025/26 school year (see exact dates below). But it's not all about screens! Every Sunday, children enjoy a balanced mix of: ⭐ Robotics - building and programming age-appropriate robots ⭐ Offline games and puzzles – to strengthen logic and thinking skills ⭐ Teamwork challenges – like building simple machines or obstacle courses ⭐ Science experiments – to spark curiosity and connect with the world around them 🏆Each activity is designed to support what they’re learning at school – including math, language, and science – while encouraging confidence, creativity, and collaboration. 🏆We adapt activities to each child’s interests and experience. 🏆Family involvement matters: Parents receive regular updates and photos in a private group, are welcome to observe sessions, and are invited to 2–3 project presentations during the year. 🏆At the end of the program, each child receives a certificate to celebrate their achievements.
