Kids Life Skills visit to Aerial Robotics Lab (AeRoLab) Lux. university - March 24 2023!

The event will take place on March 24 2023 - 18:00 - 19:30 !!

Kids will have the opportunity to visit a real University's Aerial Robotics Laboratory during this visit. 

In the AeRoLab, they will learn more about the laboratory's projects and spark their interest while they experiment with the operation of drones themselves in the laboratory's arena.

Open for kids ages 7-13. 

The visit will be held in English, however translation will be available for French and Luxembourgish according to need.

Schedule of the visit:

17:45 - Meeting the kids in the garden in front of the AeRoLab building (https://goo.gl/maps/gbNPETNoMTAG6Q3R8) at the University of Luxembourg - Kirchberg Campus (29 Av. John F. Kennedy, 1855 Luxembourg)

18:00 - Laboratory's activities:

• Introduction to the place (Uni + Lab) with a high level review of some of the projects that are done / developed in the laboratory.
• A demonstration of using hand gestures to control the drone.
• The kids will operate the drone themselves using hand gestures.

Presentation on how the project was developed/coded.

19:30: Meeting the parents back in the garden in front of the AeRoLab building

(Due to limited space, parents are welcome to bring their children at 17:45 and pick them up at 19:30.)
