Scratch Coding Concepts: Code, Create, and Have Fun! Dive into the world of programming with our "Scratch Coding Concepts" course for kids ages 8-10. Over 10 exciting lessons, each 3 hours long, your child will explore coding through Scratch, MIT's playful programming platform. What is Scratch? Scratch is a colorful, block-based programming language that lets kids create interactive stories, games, and animations. It's the perfect way to introduce young minds to coding in a fun, creative way. 📚 What Will Students Learn? 1.Scratch Basics: Getting comfortable with the programming interface. 2.Interactive Storytelling: Creating characters and narratives. 3.Game Design: Building simple, interactive games. 4.Animation Skills: Making characters and scenes come alive. 5.Problem-Solving: Learning to debug and improve projects. 6.Core Coding Concepts: Understanding variables, loops, conditionals and more. 📚 Course Details * 10 lessons, each 3 hours long. * On Sundays, 10:00 - 13:00. See exact schedule below. * Maximum class size: 10 students. * Recommended for kids that already participated in one of our courses: Discovery, aMAZING, Scratch 101 ages 7-10 or other prior experience with Scratch. * A laptop is required for the course. * Delivered in French, Support in English available according to need. Whether your child is a complete beginner or has some coding experience, this course welcomes all. It builds perfectly on our 'Discovery' course but isn't required for participation.
