Coding and Storytelling Scratch JR: Spark Creativity Through Code! Introduce your 4-5 year olds to the magical world of coding with our "Coding and Storytelling Scratch JR" course. (JR stands for Junior) Over 8 engaging lessons, each 2 hours long, your child will explore basic programming concepts while creating their own interactive stories. Children can spark imagination by choosing characters from Disney movies, favorite books, or creating their own heroes. They can then design fun, personalized games starring these characters, encouraging creativity and storytelling while making learning more exciting and engaging. What is Scratch JR? Scratch JR, by MIT, is a simplified, tablet-based version of Scratch, designed specifically for younger children. It uses colorful coding blocks to help kids create their own interactive stories and games. 📚 What Will Students Learn? 1.Scratch JR Basics: Familiarizing with the kid-friendly interface. 2.Character Creation: Designing and animating story characters. 3.Simple Sequencing: Learning to arrange coding blocks logically. 4.Storytelling Elements: Crafting digital narratives. 5.Basic Interactivity: Adding simple user interactions to stories. 6.Problem-Solving: Developing logical thinking skills. 📚 Course Details and Registration * 8 lessons, each 2 hours long. * On Sundays, 10:00 - 12:00. See exact schedule below. * Maximum class size: 10 students. * Recommended for kids that already participated in one of our courses (Discovery, Robotics etc. for ages 4-6), and also suitable for complete beginners. ❗️ Important: - This course is designed specifically for ages 4-5, in English (with French support if needed). - A fully charged tablet is required for the course (iPad or Android).
